The single highest ranking “Commercial” broker to also be working in the “Residential” real estate brokerage community, Bridget has represented more Foreign Tenants and Buyers of Commercial Buildings and Office Space than any individual broker in New York City. As a result of this specialization, she has represented more foreign banks than any individual broker in the world. Her clients include the finest hoteliers, real estate owners/developers, financiers, as well as non-profit organizations.

Having begun her career at Lehman Brothers as an Associate in Real Estate Finance as a result of writing her Graduate Thesis on the collection of art and functional use of space of Wall Street Banking Houses, she was then sought to join Eastdil Secured, known for selling major office buildings.

As the only broker in New York City to hold both a Masters in Architectural Art History as well as another in Restoration & Preservation of Architecture both from Columbia University, Bridget is truly “passionate” about beautiful architecture. She specializes in the sale of architecturally significant buildings, both commercial & residential. For example, she sold 55 Wall Street, one of the greatest landmarks in New York City, approximately 233,000 Sq Ft., while she had her own firm. The property was not on the market for sale, but under a signed contract to another buyer.

Known for her creativity, tenacity, patience, integrity, honesty and ability to make complicated deals happen, often times, she finds properties for sale that are not on the market. Due to extensive knowledge of the market and thorough research, she is known to show one or two properties, offering exactly what one is looking for, making the task seem easy, and not waste the Buyer’s and Seller’s time. When every one else may say it cannot be done, she is focused and truly dedicated to making it happen. Her ability to find excellent properties for users as well as for investors is remarkable.

At the kind suggestion of the late Brendan Gill (the renowned architectural critic of The New Yorker Magazine), Bridget was the first real estate broker to be asked to serve as a Board Member of the New York Landmarks Conservancy, which she did for 9 years. Thereafter, she was asked to serve as an International Councilor member of The World Monuments Fund.

Upon joining Alice F. Mason, Ltd. four years ago she established and heads the Commercial Sales & Leasing Department. She is also the only Commercial New York real estate broker who also sells properties in London, Paris and Italy.

A graduate of Manhattanville College of the Sacred Heart where she graduated with Dean’s List, Honors in Art History, having minored in Studio Art and French Literature. After a summer as a Fashion Stylist at Doyle Dane & Bernbach, she returned to School to obtain her Ph.D. at Columbia University in Art History for paintings & sculpture. Bridget also wrote a section for a Guide Book entitled, SECRETS OF PARIS, about “Unknown Museums” which incorporated her love of Paris and art.

While at Columbia University she was accepted into the Architectural School and received the first joint Masters for Restoration & Preservation of Architecture together with a Masters of Architectural Art History from the School of Graduate Faculties for Art History.

Her studies abroad included the Sarah Lawrence Summer School in Florence, Italy for Art & Italian. She loves languages and sincerely believes one must know the language of a country to better understand the culture. She speaks French, Italian, some Brasilian Portuguese, and knows how to say “thank you” in many more. Aside from museums, galleries and art Fairs, her pastime is classical ballet, tennis and international business / economy.

In the past three years, Bridget has personally sold 8 buildings—well, in excess of $200 Million total assets --including four commercial properties along West 57th & 56th Street s between Fifth & Sixth Avenues (three of which were not on the market).

In 2006, she also sold a prime Grade II listed freehold property with private mews in the elite Mayfair section of London, England to house the private offices of a prominent European company.

More recently, in April 2008, she once again sold a Grade II freehold property along Old Bond Street, the most elegant shopping Street of London. An “off market” sale of approximately $50 Million, the Buyer had repeatedly expressed interest to purchase but was flatly turned away by all local London agents, stating ownership would never consider a sale of their property. Built and occupied for 6 generations by the same family business -- after almost 4 years of discreet negotiations, she persuaded ownership to sell to this particular Buyer.

Known for her tenacity, patience, integrity, honesty and ability to focus -- turning what is the impossible into reality, a most positive outcome, Bridget sincerely maintains the highest standards of professional ethics, working in the best interest of her clients -- be it the Buyer, Seller or both – to assure everyone’s goals are fulfilled upon completion.

Bridget is the only NY real estate broker who has worked internationally throughout her career in both NY as well as abroad, having represented more foreign /international clients than any individual NY, commercial or residential, real estate broker.

Presently, she is exclusive agent to sell a unique estate with a free standing private Chapel, circa 100 acres in Chianti, Italy --owned solely by the Catholic Church and the present owner. It served originally over the centuries as the country residence of the Archbishops of Florence.

Presently, she is finalizing negotiations for more than $1 Billion of real estate internationally.
